TESTIMONIALS

“Since joining the ‘The Netball Club’ I have been very impressed with the organisation. There is great care taken over planning matches and training sessions. The company is run by keen netball players and their passion for the game shows through and makes it different from other leagues I have been part of.

I was lucky enough to attend a training session they organised recently with England Player Eboni Beckford-Chambers. This was not only a great learning opportunity but also great fun. Fun is definitely the key word when talking about The Netball Club, a great place to get fit, discover your love of netball again and make great friends.”

"I joined the Netball Club never having played netball in my life. The club is very well-organised, which meant I quickly learned the rules and what to expect from each game, and the other players are incredibly supportive and friendly. As a result, I feel increasingly confident in my growing netball skills and fitness, and I'm loving playing a team sport for the first time in years."

Dear Becci and Lisa

Just a quick note to say thanks for getting us up and running again this season. It's been great fun to be back on the court and we all really appreciate all that you've done to keep us safe.

The umpires have been fab too - supporting us to play, giving gentle guidance when needed but delivered with a smile, which makes all the difference!  Thanks for maintaining the fun atmosphere.

Spice Goals are definitely loving playing outside at CP, thanks for keeping us there.

Best wishes and huge thanks to you both.

I played my first game with TNC last night at Bromley and really enjoyed it - I even got POM! I’ve been playing in different netball leagues in London for years and TNC is by far the most organised. Love that you have captains and it’s so nice to acknowledge players for playing well. The umpires were brill too. I only moved to the area last year then had a baby so I’m so glad I found TNC so I can play again as I just love netball! Thanks again for getting me onto a team and keep up the great work.

ABOUT US

What is The Netball Club and how do I get involved?

The Netball Club (TNC) is run by two  mums who love to play netball. They met playing in a local social team and decided to join forces to create a new, fun and exciting new league locally to the Crystal Palace area.

Formed at the end of 2015, the first league started in January 2016 at Harris Academy Crystal Palace. TNC now run 10 leagues, Monday at Harris Academy Crystal Palace (intermediate), Bishop Thomas Grant School Streatham and at City Heights Academy Tulse Hill (social leagues), Tuesday at Sydenham High School (intermediate), Harris Academy Beckenham and Haberdashers' Aske's Knights Academy (social leagues), Wednesday at Bromley High School and Haberdasher Aske Knights Academy (social leagues), Thursday at Harris Academy Crystal Palace and Coopers School (social leagues). Venues are a mixture of indoor and outdoor courts.

The leagues are social fun leagues, with usually between 5-7 teams in each league. A typical season will run for 10 weeks, depending on how many teams sign up. The winner will be the team who tops the table at the end of the season. We also award a Player of the Season for each league. Prices are dependent on league location, and how many players a team has in the team to divide the team fee with. Prices are inclusive of VAT.

It doesn't matter if you haven't played netball for a long time. A lot of people who first join the leagues haven't played since school!

All you need to join a league is yourself. If you want to join, just get in touch and we will assign you to a team before the season starts and then send you your team details, including fixtures.

Netball is one of the fastest growing women's sports in the Country. Why not be part of it!

If you would like to join a league please get in touch.
